Urban Farmer offers Landscape Maintenance to commercial properties throughout
the Greater
Denver Metro Area. Commercial properties are typically described
as Office and Business Parks or Complexes, Shopping Centers and Strip Malls,
Hospitals, Schools, Parks and Athletic Fields, Event Centers, Metro Districts
and City Municipalities, and Homeowner Associations.
Services include:
Mowing, trimming, edging, policing and blowing, irrigation activation,
winterization, and weekly water management, turf, shrub, and tree fertilization,
broadleaf chemical control in beds and turf to include spring and fall emergent,
preventative chemical treatments on trees, pruning of shrubs and trees, spring
site clean-up, trash and debris removal, fall leaf removal, native area
maintenance and mowing, aerate, and monthly status reports.
Irrigation Repair and Maintenance
The Irrigation Division
is a support system for commercial lawn maintenance. With the ability to work
with your current irrigation system or design a new irrigation system to meet
the needs of your property.

Backflow repair, valve repair, head
repair, irrigation line repair, electrical issues, and Timer issues.

Starting up your irrigation system for
the season
Initial Adjustments: After the initial activation we run through your system and make adjustments for proper water coverage and proper operation of all zones.
Weekly Service Checks: We check each week for proper coverage and to make sure that your irrigation system is operating correctly. We will make the adjustments to your irrigation system and replace any necessary parts to ensure that your irrigation system is working properly.
Winterization: Approximately mid October – mid November

landscape. With our highly trained professionals, our goal is to add a new

lighting and décor. Landscape design programs are used extensively to help
customers better visualize their properties potential. With the use of digital
media, design software, and a creative mind, our design team can create a
detailed color picture of how your project will look after
installation.
Seasonal Flowers

a seasonal color program. The success of any seasonal color program depends on
the post-installation maintenance. Urban Farmer Has dedicated crews who
specialize in the care of the color plantings. They perform weeding,
fertilization, fungicide applications and irrigation monitoring to ensure
adequate water coverage. This maintenance programs provides optimum conditions
for the ongoing health and beauty of the seasonal color displays.
Plant Health Care
Our plant health care works in concert
with our clients to develop an environmentally sensitive management plan for all
plants in their landscape. Together you identify key trees, and shrub that will
become a dominant part of your landscaping needs. These represent major,
long-term investments in your landscape and warrant special care from an
arborist who understands the unique needs of trees and shrubs. Once focal points
are established we will evaluate the overall health of the plants on your
property looking for elements that may be out of balance.
Chemical Application
Urban Farmer has licensed chemical
application technicians to help rid your property of the unwanted items and keep
them away permanently. We are current and fluent with chemicals on the market
(herbicides, pesticides, applicators) and are licensed to use them.
Fertilization
Fertilization is one of the most basic and
important components of a turf grass management program. Turf
fertilization contributes greatly to turf color, density, uniformity, and growth
rate. In addition, properly fertilized turf is better able to compete with weed
invasions and is able to recover from damage caused by environmental and biotic
stresses more readily than turf that is improperly fertilized. When developing a
turf fertilization program, a number of factors need to be considered.
Weed Control
Preemergence herbicides are used to prevent
weeds from becoming established. They are most useful in areas where a certain
weed species is known to be a problem. A major advantage of preemergence
herbicides for lawn care/grounds management is that they prevent the weed
problem from occurring thereby reducing the number of complaints or call-backs,
which can be expensive and time consuming to the manager.
Insect and Disease Management Disease Control
Landscape plants which are prone to particular diseases can receive
preventive treatments throughout the season. If other diseases appear, they are
immediately treated with the proper control material.
Insect Control
Trees and shrubs can receive a
combination of preventive treatments and control treatments as needed to take
care of a wide variety of insects problems throughout the year.
Snow Removal
Welcome the unexpected weather of
Colorado. Urban Farmer provides a wide range of snow removal services on
over 100 commercial properties. The properties range from shopping
centers, schools, and banks to large HOA's. In addition to standard plow
trucks, ice melt and hand shovel crews, Urban Farmer offers the ability to
handle large storm events with several skid steers, wheel loaders, and dump
trucks. In the event of ice storms we are capable of applying sand/salt,
Ice Slicer, and Mag Chloride to parking lots and drive lanes. From
hand shoveling doorways and stairways to applying de-icers to strategic
locations, we are here to meet your unexpected snow and ice removal needs.
